idea for Christmas tree trimmings that the will keep the kids busy too! Winter and Christmas is fast approaching. Why not turn your tree trimmings into delicious smelling fire starters. Rollup a pile and leave them on show as attractive little packets by your stove or fire. Fold a couple of sheets of newspaper in half and place a few sprigs of pine trimmings, a cinnamon stick and a pine cone in the centre. Brown paper gives a great effect too. Then roll the bundle up and twist the tube a little on each side of the lump created by the filling. Tie each end closed with a little twine. Place on your fire as you require and get that wonderful “ Christmassy” fragrance.
